Sherris Moyo-Makgamatha

Sherris Moyo-Makgamatha is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mak & Manor, a faith-led South African lifestyle company built around home, family, learning and purposeful service.

Mak & Manor was born from Sherris’s belief that the gifts, ideas and opportunities entrusted to us by God should be used faithfully to serve others. What began with a passion for transforming homes has grown into a multidisciplinary company spanning residential renovations and interiors, thoughtfully curated stays, reliable logistics and parent-led educational resources.

As a mother, Sherris is especially passionate about the role of the home in shaping a child’s development. This inspired Mak & Manor Learning: a growing collection of structured reading, mathematics and early-learning resources created to help parents participate confidently and intentionally in their children’s education. The learning division reflects her belief that parents are powerful first teachers and that every child deserves a strong, joyful foundation.

Across every division, Sherris brings together creativity, practical problem-solving and careful attention to detail. Her aim is not simply to create attractive spaces or products, but to build things that serve families, create opportunity and leave a meaningful legacy.

She gives all glory to God for the vision, provision and growth of Mak & Manor and remains committed to leading the company with faith, integrity, excellence and stewardship.
